OUR STORY

At the age of 25, without any prior knowledge or experience, Christopher Stewart, founder of Stewart Financial Advisors, LLC, embarked on a life-long journey to become a financial advisor, in hopes of being able to live and work in his local community, by helping people prepare for retirement, and live their best life along the way.  First he began studying for the Series 7 General Securities exam, which he passed in November of 2004.  In the months following, he passed the Series 63 Uniform Securities Agent State Law exam, and the WV Life & Health Insurance exam.   In the years that followed, he also obtained his Series 65 Uniform Investment Advisor Law exam, and a number of professional designations: RICP® APMA® AIF®

After obtaining these licenses, Christopher was hired by a nationally known financial services firm.  With no prior experience, at age 25, he went door to door, knocking on thousands of doors to introduce himself to people throughout the community, and let them know what services he offered, and how he hoped to lend a helping hand when it came to their big financial picture.  If you ask Chris, he would say he started off as a mutual fund salesman, going door to door.

Fast-forward to the present day.  Mission Financial Advisors provides a client centered process that is based on the concept of good Stewardship, which is an ethical principle that embodies responsible planning and management of client resources.
